Challenge the future at AIXTRON. Challenge the impossible - are you ready?
At AIXTRON, the leading provider of deposition equipment for the semiconductor industry, we don't just create technology - we shape the future. Since our foundation in 1983, we have been characterised by our spirit of research and our attention to detail. Our state-of-the-art systems are at the heart of many high-tech applications, from LED and display technology to energy management, communication and much more. Our employees are our greatest asset. With your talent and passion for technology, you too can soon help push the boundaries of what is possible. At AIXTRON, you can expect exciting projects, interdisciplinary teams and the chance to be at the forefront of technological development.
Your challenge
- You will be responsible for the operation of a MOCVD system at the customer's site, the process development on a MOCVD system, the processing of tasks arising within the scope of the projects and the coordination with the expert teams within AIXTRON and at the customer's site.
- Your task is to develop MOCVD processes for the deposition of 2D materials, to plan experimental growth trials (DOE) and to document the results obtained in a structured manner, to plan and evaluate measurements, to systematically analyse the cause of process and hardware problems (e.g. with FMEA) and to document them.
- Thanks to you, our product and process development progresses, complex and local problems are solved and there is an exchange of ideas and knowledge with customers and colleagues.
What you need to bring
- You have a degree in natural sciences or engineering, e.g. physics, electrical engineering
- You have in-depth knowledge in the field of semiconductor technology, solid state physics and materials science
- Process experience in the deposition of compound semiconductors, especially 2D materials, is desirable
- Experience in using statistical software (e.g. JMP, minitab) and knowledge of problem-solving techniques and quality methods (e.g. FMEA, SPC) are desirable
- You are willing to travel, analytical, solution-orientated and committed and have very good English skills
- Personally, you score with commitment and loyalty
