Deine Challenge

  • Du bist verantwortlich für das gesamte Programm und hältst alle Fäden in Deinen Händen außerdem leitest Du ein interdisziplinarisches Team. Interaktionen mit Direktoren, Vizepräsidenten und dem Produkt Management finden auf Augenhöhe statt.
  • Deine Aufgabe ist es die technischen Herausforderungen gegenüber den Marktanforderungen zu prüfen, die Machbarkeit zu evaluieren und daraus Projekte abzuleiten
  • Das Opto Materials Program umfasst Laser, Micro Led, Telekommunikation- und Sola10r Anwendungen
  • Durch dich gelangt der Input von Industriepartnern und Universitäten zu AIXTRON und wird zur Verbesserung genutzt, Synergien innerhalb von AIXTRON erkannt und genutzt.

 

Das bringst du dafür mit

  • Du hast einen abgeschlossenen Hochschulabschluss, mindestens einen Bachelor in Ingenieurwissenschaften, Physik oder Materialwissenschaften Fach – idealerweise einen Master oder Doktortitel
  • Du bringst 10 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Bereich Opto Materials oder Technology mit.
  • Idealerweise verfügst du über Kenntnisse im Projektmanagement und/oder Program Management
  • Du bist ein Teamplayer und Vorbild für deine Kollegen und verfügst bereits über Erfahrung in einer Führungsposition
  • Persönlich punktest du durch exzellente Kommunikations- und Präsentationstechniken und durch analytisches und strukturiertes Denken.
  • Idealerweise verfügst Du über verhandlungssichere Englisch- und Deutschkenntnisse

Your challenge 

  • You will be fully responsible for the entire program and hold all the strings in your hands, while leading an interdisciplinary team. You will interact with Directors, Vice Presidents, and Product Management as equals.
  • Your task will be to assess technical challenges against market requirements, evaluate feasibility, and derive projects accordingly.
  • You will lead a team of project managers with direct line reporting into the program to achieve program objectives.
  • The Opto Materials Program will encompass Lasers, Micro LED, Telecommunication, and Solar Applications.
  • You will channel input from industry partners and universities into AIXTRON, using it for improvement, identifying synergies within AIXTRON, and leveraging them

 

Your key competencies

  • You have a completed degree at least a BS in an Engineering, Physics or Materials Science related field – Ideally having a MS or PhD
  • You bring 10 years of professional experience in the field of Opto Materials or Technologies.
  • Ideally, you have experience in project management and/or program management
  • You are a team player and a role model for your colleagues as well as having experience in leadership roles
  • Personally, you stand out with excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as analytical and structured thinking.
  • Ideally you are fluent in English and German
