Your responsibilities:

  • Perform and supervise installation, technical system checks and commissioning of equipment at customers’ sites globally.
  • Continuously collect, analyze and summarize customers’ feedback, and report to the line manager
  • Follow up of service-related activities and timely execution of service tasks
  • Generate reports in a timely and transparent manner, especially with issues concerning job schedule, potential risks, technical difficulties, etc.
  • Communicate and collaborate appropriately with customers.
  • Build up and maintain AIXTRON corporate image by delivering excellence in customer service.
  • Ensure the proper function of tools and safety equipment, strictly following safety procedure to handle hazardous chemicals.
  • Shift duty might be required upon customer request.
  • >90% International travel is required to serve customers in Europe, USA and other countries.

 Your qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree, majoring in electrical, mechanical engineering or related field is preferred
  • 2 years’ experience in equipment engineering or service, preferably from Semiconductor-, CVD- or PVD-industry
  • Experience in technical customer service of AIXTRON MOCVD systems is preferred
  • Working experience in European companies is preferred
  • Excellent in oral and written English
  • Strong skills in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, vacuum, gas and software control systems
  • Able to work independently and in a team
  • Able to accept international travel and long-term work in other countries.
